Our Post-Operative Care

Comprehensive Support

Post-Operative Care That Keeps Recovery Calm, Clear, and Closely Supported

Recovery is one of the most important parts of surgery — especially for international patients healing away from home.

Royal Beauty Concierge supports patients in Bangkok from hospital discharge through the key stages of recovery, with RN nurse visits, daily check-ins, practical coordination, and pre-flight surgeon review before travelling home.

Why Post-Operative Care Matters

For many patients, the recovery period is the part they worry about most.

After surgery, questions can come up quickly from swelling and discomfort to follow-up timing, wound care, and when it is safe to fly home. For international patients, this can feel even more stressful when recovering in another country.

That is why RBC stays closely involved after surgery not just before it.

The RBC Signature Recovery Protocol

Our post-operative support is guided by The RBC Signature Recovery Protocol — a more structured recovery approach designed to help patients feel supported through the most important early stage of healing in Thailand.

It combines RN nurse visits, daily recovery check-ins, practical coordination, urgent contact support, and clear step-by-step guidance, so recovery feels more manageable and less uncertain.

Designed for patients who want recovery to feel more supported, more organised, and easier to manage while away from home.

Recovery in Bangkok, With the Right Support Around You

After hospital discharge, patients are supported by both the RBC team and an RN nurse through the most important early phase of healing, including follow-up through the suture removal stage.

We help patients navigate recovery day by day with guidance, coordination, and support that stays close throughout the recovery period in Bangkok.

Where appropriate, we also encourage gentle short outings to support light movement and help recovery feel less isolating.

For Patients Travelling Alone

Many of our patients come to Thailand alone, and recovery is often the part they worry about most.

RBC is designed to make that experience feel less overwhelming. We stay close, explain what happens next, and remain available throughout recovery.

If concerns arise at night, patients can contact our team directly. Because we stay at the same hotel used for recovery support, help feels closer and easier to reach when needed.

What’s Included in

RBC Post-Operative Care

These are not optional add-ons. They are part of how RBC supports a smoother, more closely supported recovery journey.

RBC Team + RN Nurse Support After Discharge

After hospital discharge, patients are supported by both the RBC team and an RN nurse during the most important early stage of healing.

RN Nurse Visits Through Suture Removal

RN nurse visits continue through the suture removal stage, helping patients feel more supported while early healing is monitored more closely.

Personal Recovery Roadmap + Daily Check-Ins

Each patient receives a personalised recovery roadmap together with daily check-ins, so they understand what to expect, what to prioritise, and what comes next.

Urgent Contact and Escalation Support

If concerns arise, including during the evening or night, patients can contact our team directly. RBC helps guide next steps and coordinate with the medical team when needed.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy + Red Light Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Red Light Therapy are included according to the procedure and stage of healing, usually around 1–3 sessions depending on the surgery, to support circulation, tissue recovery, and healing.

Scar Care + Healing Guidance

Where appropriate, patients receive scar care support together with guidance around healing, hydration, nutrition, and light recovery movement.

Pre-Flight Recovery Review + Fit to Fly Letter

Each patient’s stay in Thailand is planned around the stage of recovery needed before flying home. One day before departure, patients attend surgeon follow-up so healing, swelling, and overall recovery can be reviewed properly. If appropriate, a Fit to Fly letter is then issued before travel.

Follow-Up After Returning Home

After patients return home, follow-up continues online with the RBC team so support does not stop when the flight home begins.

Included as part of our service, because recovery should never be treated as an afterthought.

A Recovery Environment Designed to Feel More Manageable

The recovery experience is not only about appointments. It is also about where patients stay, how easily follow-up is arranged, and whether the environment feels calm enough to heal in.

RBC recovery planning is designed to make the post-operative period feel more comfortable, more organised, and easier to manage while in Bangkok.
